The A.S.V.M.T, a non-profit Protestant organization, owns this historic monument, and administrates its activities as a whole. It was officially recognized on a national level by decree on May 14, 1949.

Today, the Chartreuse de Valbonne is both a place of hospitality and a tourist attraction.

A visit to the monument, the discovery of its vineyard, its wines and the forest that surrounds it, the hotel, its meeting rooms, and the cultural events are activities managed by a Help-Through-Work center.

This type of management allows the association to make the monastery sustain itself in total agreement with its social objectives.
